At Lowry Residential Inc., we are committed to providing inclusive, community-based supports and services that empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives. We promote individual choice, dignity, and a high quality of life by tailoring our support to each person’s unique needs. We also actively encourage the ongoing involvement of family and friends, recognizing their vital role in the lives of the individuals we serve.
What is a Developmental Disability?
A developmental disability is a lifelong condition that begins before the age of 22 and may impact a person’s ability to function independently. These conditions can include autism, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, hearing or vision impairments, mobility challenges, speech and communication disorders, mental health needs, or behavioral challenges. Individuals with developmental disabilities may require support in areas such as communication, self-care, social interaction, and adaptive skills.
